This country garden was laid out in 2004. The formal area has been designed to frame the view and is planted symmetrically and includes many plants that attract bees, butterflies and moths. The planting in the borders within the formal area was selected to provide colour from May through to October, but will give structure and form year round. The colour palette creates a relaxing and feminine atmosphere.
The inclusion of eighteen David Austin ‘Gertrude Gekyll’ shrub roses gives a real wow factor as well as exceptional fragrance. There is an area for children to play, as well as a large vegetable garden and grass meadow.
